What Is Pongamia?
A subtropical legume, commonly planted around the world, that fixes nitrogen, sequesters carbon, and is climate-change adaptive. - Native to Asia and Far North Queensland.- Legume family.- 5Mt + of seeds produced in India and Sri Lanka PA.- 8-years to reach maturity @ 60 kg PA of seeds per tree.- Drought, flood and salt tolerant.- Seeds harvested similarly to Almonds- Tree production life 25+ years- Nitrogen fixing for improved soil health.
SAF & HVO Feedstocks
Oil- Processed and used to make (SAF), sustainable aviation fuel.- Processed and used to make (HVO), renewable diesel.
Plant Based Protein
Protein Meal/Cake- Upgraded and used for plant-based protein flour in human food (removes bitter taste).- Upgraded and used for plant-based protein in animal food (removes bitter taste).
